MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Englemere DFAS is on an annual basis with the membership year running from April to the following March. New members may join with effect from either April 1st [full year] or October 1st [half year]. If you are interested in joining then please follow the link below for a Membership Application Form. When this has been received you will, if appropriate, be placed on the Waiting List until the next available joining date. A registration fee of £5 is payable on joining the waiting list, but this will be offset against the joining fee of £10. Please note that husbands and wives are considered as separate members.
Whilst on the Waiting List, you may attend up to three lectures as a guest [at a fee of £5 per lecture] subject to confirmation from the Membership Secretary that space is available. Waiting list members may also participate in visits, tours and social events, again subject to space being available.
Members may bring guests to lectures at a cost of £5 per guest per
lecture, subject to prior confirmation from the Membership Secretary
that space is available. No guest may attend more than two lectures
in any one year.
Membership is renewable on an annual basis, subscriptions being payable on 1st January. Each year we will write to you giving several weeks notice that the subscriptions are due. On joining, you will be asked to complete a standing order mandate. This method of payment cuts down on administration costs. In the event that you do not wish to renew your membership, simply cancel the standing order and advise the Membership Secretary.
