Tuesday February 16^th 2010	VISIT TO DENNIS SAVERS HOUSE IN SPITALFIELDS, NICHOLAS HAWKSMOOR’S CHRIST CHURCH AND THE GEFFRYE MUSEUM Fully booked
Friday March 12^th 2010	A BEHIND THE SCENES VISIT TO THE COLISEUM, HOME TO THE ENGLISH NATIONAL OPERA the tour will be led by Sara Lenton, the lecturer at our study day in February 2009. Booking commences at the January 2010 lecture meeting.
Friday April 23^rd 2010	VISIT TO ARUNDEL CASTYLE IN SUSSEX a full day visit. We have a lecture on the Howards of Arundel Castle and Castle Howard by William Forrester on March 9^th. Booking commences at the February 2010 lecture meeting .
Tuesday July 6^th 2010	BLENHEIM PALACE a full day’s visit to the home of the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Booking commences at the May 2010 lecture meeting.
Tuesday September 7^th 2010	A WALK AROUND LEGAL LONDON led by Andrew Davies Booking commences at the July lecture meeting.
Friday November 5^th 2010	A VISIT TO LEIGHTON HOUSE AND THE LINLEY SAMBOURNE HOUSE IN KENSINGTON - this visit will be preceded by a lecture on Leighton House on July 8^th. Leighton House was the home of Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830 - 1896) and one of the most remarkable buildings of the 19th century. Linley Sambourne House [pictured], 18 Stafford Terrace is a unique example of a late Victorian townhouse. Home to the cartoonist Edward Linley Sambourne and his family from 1874, it survives with almost all of its furniture and fittings intact. Booking commences at the September lecture meeting.
TOURS
May 13^th - 18^th 2010	A VISIT TO ISTANBUL a 5-night visit to the European City of Culture 2010 staying in Old Istanbul close to all the major historical sites.   Visits will be made to Dolmabahce and Topkapi Palaces, St. Sophia and the Blue Mosque as well as to the Egyptian and Grand Bazaars.  Booking underway - very few places left.
